 Welcome to Standard-Gasket.com, a
manufacturer-direct wholesale outlet for standard and semi-standard rubber,
plastic, and other non-metallic products. Our mission is to standardize products formerly available only by special quotation and/or as custom fabricated products. By "standardize" we mean offering what we know through four decades of experience that people needing
rubber washers, o-rings, weather stripping, plastic washers
and shims, flange gaskets, rubber grommets, etc. are looking for --
dimensions, specifications, tolerances, prices and
discounts, plus helpful schematics and pictures. An ongoing project, no product line is considered complete until fully explained, defined, illustrated, and priced with quantity discounts online.
We Asked Ourselves Two Questions...

Why should someone have to choose between overpriced retail options or expensive and inconvenient custom fabrication to get a couple hundred
rubber washers or a few rolls of sponge weather stripping?

In the age of the internet, why should component part manufacturers rely on sales reps, distributors, retailers, and other middlemen to get their products to the end users?
We found the answer to both questions to be 'no reason';
everybody wins when consumers are able to deal more directly with manufacturers. For better or worse, the internet virtually obsoletes the need for many formerly indispensable middlemen in supply chains, and end users are the ultimate winner in the cost savings

 We don't think you ought to have to ask for information that thousands of others also seek all the time, so we're putting all we can on the web. The process is involved, but there are dozens more general product lines that we know mostly through supplying OEM's and distributors over the years that have wide enough application to offer in multiple size, material, and configuration options. For instance, rectangle, round, and oval lid and flange gaskets in various materials are the kind of products we've been making to various specifications for years, and so are
rubber air diffuser sleeves, bolted tank rubber gasketing, rubber washers,
sponge rubber weather stripping, plastic shims, etc. We know these products, their applications, and how to manufacture them.
We also carry a full line of sheet rubber, sponge rubber, foams, plastic films and sheets, cork and rubber composites, non-asbestos and other gasket packing materials, various fiber composite gasket sheet materials, and an array of special application materials for high temperature, harsh chemicals, RF and EMI shielding, and other purposes. All are available in full uncut sheets or rolls, or can be blanked, sheared, slit, die cut or otherwise converted according to customer requirements.
