Metro Industries’ Quality Policy

Metro Industries completed primary implementation of an ISO 9002 based Quality System in 2001.  Plans to proceed with the certification process are open at present, as considerations to make adjustments necessary to comply with the newer ISO 9000 Quality Standard may affect the schedule on this.  

Following is Metro Industries' Quality Policy as shown in our Quality Manual, a copy of which is available to customers on request:

Metro Industries, Inc. is committed to uncompromised quality as the essential ingredient of every aspect of procurement, material storage and handling, administration, sales, engineering, production, packaging, and shipping.  All employees, suppliers, or otherwise associated individuals and entities are responsible for assuring that the highest possible quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of the operation.

It is Metro’s objective to:

·        Improve our position in the industry by constantly providing high quality products and exceptional customer service.

·        Continuously strive to provide the products and services that meet the expectations of our customers.

·        Ensure quality training so that there is recognition that our work must meet or exceed the requirements of our mission and thus the quality policy.

·        Identify and correct root causes of quality systems and nonconformances.

·        Comply with and maintain Metro’s quality policies and standards.

·        Establish structured problem solving methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
