Rubber Grommet Material Specifications

Standard-Gasket offers durable 60 Durometer High Grade SBR and oil-resistant Buna-N Rubber Grommets as a standard economical option for most grommet requirements.  Unless an application involves considerable contact with petroleum products or chemicals, extreme high or low temperatures, or requires flame resistance or other particular properties, this durable rubber is ideal for most rubber grommet applications. (See table below.)

However, SG also offers all standard rubber grommet sizes (see Standard Grommet Dimensions & Prices) in all the following rubber compound and durometer options as semi-standard products.  That means no expensive mold or tooling costs and generally lower minimum purchase requirements than custom molders can offer.   Unfortunately, we are not able to standardize pricing on these at this time, but that doesn't mean it won't be worth your while to let us quote (or simply give technical information) your requirements.
