Closed Cell Sponge Rubber Sheets, Rolls
Following are technical specifications for SG's Commercial
Neoprene Blend Sponge and EVA Foam or Sponge. These materials are
available in sheets, stripping, or die cut configurations in thicknesses ranging
from 1/16" up. Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) with protective
liner backing is available on both.
Both materials are excellent for general sealing purposes,
especially where resistance to moisture absorption might be important and
irregular surfaces are involved. Of the two, Neoprene is slightly higher
in cost and is generally more durable and suitable for higher temperature
applications. On the other hand, EVA is slightly more resilient, as shown
by the Compression Deflection and Elongation figures below.
Standard Gasket has many other varieties of cellular sponge and foam
products which will be added to this web site in the future. These
include Silicone Sponge for higher temperature applications, PVC Foam for UV
resistance and resilience, Polyurethane foam, etc. Whatever your Sponge or
Foam Rubber application requirements are, SG can help you find the best and
most cost effective solution.
